The American Lawyers Guild (ALG) is a membership-based nonprofit alliance of attorneys committed to restoring integrity, balance, and fairness to the American legal system. We stand in direct opposition to the radical lawfare tactics that have weaponized civil procedure, undermined due process, and distorted justice.

Our members are legal professionals who:

• Reject the influence of partisan bar associations like the ABA;
   
• Support the Equal Access to Justice Act and similar reforms to halt obstructionist litigation abuse;
   
• Defend the judiciary from institutional degradation;
   
• And stand ready to represent grassroots America First causes with courage, ethics, and fidelity to the Constitution.
   

All law firms that have entered into settlement agreements with the Trump administration in good faith have committed to supporting the mission of ALG and advancing America First legal priorities across the country.

Pro Bono Legal Defense for Law Enforcement Under Attack

The American Lawyers Guild (ALG) is proud to lead the ALG–LEO Defense Task Force—a membership-driven legal defense initiative created to protect Federal and State law enforcement officers who are being targeted by radical lawfare cartels simply for doing their jobs.

This Task Force provides:

• Ad hoc vice counsel to any officer under attack,
   
• Pro bono legal defense coordinated through our national network,
   
• And rapid-response legal intervention in cases where political agendas are weaponizing civil courts against LEOs.
   

Our mission aligns directly with President Trump’s recent Executive Order prioritizing the protection of immigration enforcement officers and the lawful execution of federal duties under the America First agenda. We stand firmly behind every officer acting in good faith to uphold the law—and we will not allow activist lawfare networks to destroy their lives or careers in pursuit of ideological revenge.

The American Lawyers Guild (ALG) is a primary institutional supporter of the Equal Access to Justice Act of 2025—a bold, America First-aligned reform designed to dismantle radical lawfare tactics and restore procedural fairness to the federal civil justice system.

This landmark legislation will:

• End obstructionist litigation practices used to silence whistleblowers and public-interest plaintiffs;
   
• Rein in delay tactics, serial motions, and discovery abuse by elite law firms;
   
• And reestablish the courts as a forum for truth, not procedural warfare.
   

Our entire membership body—composed of senior litigators, federal practitioners, and constitutional defenders—is prepared to fight for the bill’s introduction in Congress and work tirelessly to see it codified into law.

We believe the Equal Access to Justice Act is the most important civil procedural reform of our generation—and we will stand on the front lines to ensure it becomes the law of the land.
